INTEGRA selects Alunos as Tech Start-up of the Year
The canton of Grisons is home to many world-leading, but also very young and unknown, technology companies. We want to promote these hidden champions and their fresh ideas, bringing advances to the industry in this region. That's why we have joined forces with the Young Entrepreneurs Forum, Oblamatik and CSEM to look for the most exciting tech start-ups.
It was not easy to select the best one from all the promising applications, but finally we choose Alunos AG, with its innovative and future-oriented ideas that keep it at the frontline of technology.
Alunos, a start-up company located in Hägendorf and Landquart, develops sensors for real-time, contactless measurement of vital signs such as body temperature, heart rate and breathing rhythm. Such technology can help to develop a better understanding of the spread of disease and protect health in public spaces, medical facilities, workplaces and on public transport, which is especially important in the current pandemic.
We congratulate Alunos, and would also like to give a special mention to LifeDrop from Davos for its development of the ‘Pod’, a multi-sensory recovery capsule into which you can retreat and recharge your batteries. Both companies show great promise for the future development of the region, and we are pleased to be able to contribute something to the acceleration of science.
